1. To create a custom icon for any app (for iOS 12 and later):
Launch the Shortcuts app (ensure it is from Apple). Tap on "+". Select "+ Add Action". Choose "Scripting". Select "Open App". Pick the desired app for this shortcut. Click on the round "..." button at the top right under "Next". Assign a name to your shortcut. Tap on "Add to Home Screen". In "HOME SCREEN NAME AND ICON", enter the display name under the Icon (optional: leaving it empty creates a clean icon without text). Select the Icon and choose "Choose Photo". Pick your preferred photo tile as the shortcut Icon. Select "Add" after choosing an image for the shortcut Icon. A confirmation message will indicate completion. You can repeat these steps for each Shortcut needed. Note: You can use the same shortcut with different Icon photos. Each unique photo will open only the specified app. This feature enables playful and visually appealing icon displays. If different apps require unique Icons, create a new shortcut following these steps for each app.
